Management Center

Hazelcast Management Center enables you to monitor and manage your cluster members running Hazelcast IMDG. In addition to monitoring the overall state of your clusters, you can also analyze and browse your data structures in detail, update map configurations and take thread dumps from the members. You can run scripts (JavaScript, Groovy, etc.) and commands on your members with its scripting and console modules. See the official docs to learn more.

Hazelcast Cloud Enterprise provides a metrics view-only access to the Management Center of your Hazelcast cluster so that you can get more useful insights about a cluster state, data structure metrics and other important aspects.

Follow the instructions below to configure the Management Center access:

  1. On the cluster details page, click on the Management Center button and select Enable.

The Enable option is in the Management Center dropdown

  2. Then you need to click on the Enable Management Center checkbox in the appeared "MANAGEMENT CENTER ACCESS" dialog. This exposes a metrics view-only login URL of the Management Center. It’s available only to a set of the whitelisted IP addresses which is initially empty. Proceed by adding the direct IPs or use the CIDR notation.

Add IP addresses of users who are authorized to view metrics in Management Center

  3. Then, go back to the cluster details page, click on the Management Center button and select Open Management Center.

The Open Management Center option is in the Management Center dropdown

If your IP address is included in the whitelist, you should be able to see a metrics read-only view of the Management Center:

Read-only view of metrics in the Management Center

To disable a metrics view-only access, again click on the Management Center button in the cluster details page and select Configure Access to uncheck the corresponding checkbox in the "MANAGEMENT CENTER ACCESS" dialog.

Please note that in case of inactivity, the Management Center user session expires and you are redirected to the Hazelcast Cloud console of your cluster. You need to again click on the Management Center button and select Open Management Center to renew your access to a metrics read-only view.
